When your job involves developing innovative technology, it’s easy to get so wrapped up in figuring out what you are going to do next, how you are going to do it and when you can deliver it, that you forget about why you are doing it in the first place. In conclusion, the bottom line for an attorney in not giving out free legal advice is that if something goes wrong regarding the advice given or forms filled out there can be a malpractice suit. If there has been no fee received the attorney will have no way to settle the suit without putting him or herself in a monetary bind.
